I will help you make amazing Insta360 videos only using your phone.
"But what about desktop computer editing?"
While it is possible to edit Insta360 footage on your computer using Insta360 Studio (FREE download)... And Insta360 Studio lessons are included in the course. Here are 5 reasons why you will not want to do this.
1. Must spend at least $1,000 for a high spec computer that can edit up to 8K 360 video
You probably already have a mobile phone that is capable of editing up to 8K 360 video. I recommend using a mobile phone that is no more than 3 years old and ideally a flagship iPhone or Samsung phone. If you prefer editing on a larger screen then I recommend an iPad. Then you get the best of both worlds!
2. Insta360 Studio lacks a lot of editing features that the Insta360 App has
Insta360 Studio is very basic compared to the Insta360 App. There are more creative ways to reframe and edit 360 video in the Insta360 App.
3. Third party video editors on desktop are usually paid subscriptions
Normally I recommend using CapCut to edit multiple video clips together. But then there was the "TikTok ban" in the US. CapCut is using your videos for their own research purposes. And essential CapCut features are now part of their paid subscription plan. So I think it's time to ditch CapCut. I will now teach you how to use the Edits App (Made by Facebook) which is completely free to use.
4. Cannot add commercial music to video on desktop
Neither Insta360 Studio or CapCut on desktop allow you to add commercial music to your short videos. But in the Edits App it is possible to add commercial music within the editor, and you can export the video with commercial music to your phone as well!
5. Cannot edit on the go
Editing on desktop will limit where and when you can edit Insta360 videos. But editing on your phone can be done anywhere and anytime.

Reframe
The first step to make amazing Insta360 videos is to reframe your 360 footage. Reframing is the process of turning a 360 video in a flat video so it can be uploaded on social media. I will show you all the possible ways to reframe so you can pick your favourite method. And I will also show you how to create dynamic camera movements. For example, creating a Fake Drone Shot, Barrel Roll Shot, Timeshift Shot, and more.
